Role Overview

Support the implementation and optimisation of the Cerner Ambulatory Project within Austin Health’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This role ensures effective system configuration, workflow design, and user support to enhance clinical and administrative efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Cerner EMR modules for ambulatory care.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to design workflows.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for EMR users.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance of system changes.
  • Document processes and maintain system configuration records.
  • Assist with training and change management activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
