About Our Client

Humes is a leading supplier within the construction and infrastructure industry, known for delivering high-quality concrete products across major projects.

What You Will Be Doing

They are currently seeking a dispatch officer to work in the office of a busy pre-cast concrete yard based in Bohle, Townsville. You will be working Monday Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Daily duties would include:

• Co-ordinate all dispatch activities on site to ensure customer delivery requirements are met in the most cost-effective manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Act as the frontline interface between Humes and customers, maintaining a high standard of customer service and fostering strong external customer relationships.
• Schedule and monitor deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and efficient transport operations.
• Liaise with production, transport providers, and customers to resolve delivery issues and maintain service standards.
• Ensure accurate dispatch documentation and compliance with company safety and operational procedures.

What You Will Need

• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport to site
• SAP Experience
• Current national police check or willingness to obtain
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing
