About the role…

An exciting role exists for a passionate and empowering Disability Support Workers to join our growing Rydalmere team. You will provide support for people with a disability to live independently and maintain their best possible social wellbeing. You will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community. Being a customer-centric role, you will work with a wide range of customers.

Please note: This is not a SIL house position, this is a day program casual DSW role, regular shifts available between 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday, some shifts may be available on weekends also.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting our customers to achieve their goals
  • Facilitating individual & group activities
  • Transporting customers to & from services & activities
  • Maintain & establish links to community
  • Promoting independent decision making
  • Work within the principles of person-centred practice

About you…

You are a passionate and dedicated individual who is looking to make a difference in the community. As a people person, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service and the ability to provide a high level of support to our customers with complex needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
  • Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
