Role context

As a Digital Specialist in our Clinical Application Services team, you will be responsible for delivering Electronic Medication Management (eMM) support services for Oracle Health eMR applications. Reporting into the Electronic Medical Record (eMR) manager, the Digital Specialist is a senior clinical application service role in the medication management team. It will play an integral part in shaping and contributing to the team culture and achievements, through initiating and driving application support quality and contributing to timely service delivery.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Apply and optimise Oracle Health medication management systems, combining technical expertise and clinical knowledge to deliver strong business and patient outcomes.
  • Lead solution design by facilitating workshops, translating requirements and configuring large-scale clinical applications.
  • Manage incidents and performance, including resolving complex issues, coordinating critical incident response and driving continuous service improvement.
  • Collaborate and contribute to strategic initiatives, service planning and process uplift across Clinical Application Services.
  • Support team capability through mentoring, training and knowledge sharing with junior team members.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Brings strong clinical and technical expertise, with experience supporting clinical information systems and configuring Oracle Health medication management solutions.
  • Holds relevant qualifications and registration, including AHPRA registration in a clinical, nursing or pharmacy discipline.
  • Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyse complex issues, interpret information and deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Builds effective relationships, with strong communication and influencing skills across clinical and technical stakeholders.
  • Works with agility in complex environments, demonstrating strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Supports team capability, with experience mentoring or coaching others while fostering a customer-focused, high-performance culture.

Temporary Full Time Exempt up to 25 April 2027

Hybrid flexibility for work-life balance | Chatswood, St Leonards or Charlestown

Attractive salary, from $132,236 – $150,222 per annum + 12% Super + 17.5% annual leave loading

  • Lead solution design by facilitating workshops, translating requirements and configuring large-scale clinical applications.
