This role delivers NDSS-funded group education and information sessions, and may also provide individual and group dietetic support through the Diabetes Victoria Clinic. You’ll also contribute to resources, webinars, and broader professional support activities that strengthen our impact across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain (or work towards) accreditation requirements to support delivery of relevant programs (including DESMOND).

  • Support Diabetes Victoria’s professional development service by contributing to and/or delivering workshops for health professionals and support workers (as required).
  • Contribute to Diabetes Victoria’s organisational activities, including articles, webinars, resource development, and responses to general clinical enquiries (and media topics where appropriate).
  • Support Diabetes Camps Victoria by attending as a health professional (ideally, one camp per year, or as negotiated).

ABOUT YOU

You are a collaborative, community-minded dietitian who can translate clinical knowledge into clear, engaging education that meets people where they are. You’ll bring:

  • Strong group facilitation and presentation skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • High-quality health writing and health literacy capability, producing information that is clear, practical, and accessible.
  • Program planning and coordination skills, with confidence managing logistics, data and reporting requirements.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and culturally safe service delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder and participant communication skills, including the ability to respond to enquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications and requirements (essential unless noted):
