About the business and the role

Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) is a reputable Registered Training Organisation (RTO), committed to continuous improvement in the area of Healthcare and Nursing Education. We offer high quality, engaging, interactive online and blended course delivery modes. IHNA is now seeking an experienced person to coordinate and manage our Nursing course from our Campus at Melbourne CBD, VIC The incumbent of this position will work on a Full-Time basis, to carry out the following accountabilities.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of units of study.
  • Plan and manage contact and interaction between Educators and students.
  • Ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
  • Identify potential improvements to teaching and learning infrastructure, resources and practices.
  • Regularly update the teaching program in accordance with the current industrial practice.
  • Organize the year plan and course timetable systematically.
  • Schedule classes, clinical placements and allocating classes to the educators promptly.
  • Conduct staff appraisals and performance management.
  • Managing compliance of Educators.

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Div1.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent qualification.
  • Must be able to demonstrate industry currency evidence.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy.
