Background information about the job or company (e.g., role context, company overview)
For over 15 years, ASCOT GROUP has delivered specialised construction projects across aged care, retirement living, childcare, education and commercial environments. These are projects that require coordination, commercial discipline and a deep understanding of how construction impacts people and operations.
We were built on a simple but powerful idea: make a difference not just in the spaces we create, but in how we partner with clients, consultants and subcontractors to deliver them.
The Experience is the difference and it shows in every project we complete.
Your Role in Project Delivery
As our footprint across NSW continues to develop and grow we are on the lookout. As our Contract Administrator, you’ll support the commercial and contractual integrity of projects from award through to completion.
Working alongside Project Managers, you’ll ensure approved work orders, scope, budgets and schedules are clearly understood and well managed. You’ll maintain accurate project information within the job management system, coordinate communication with internal teams and subcontracted trades, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant before works commence.
You’ll also play an important role in protecting commercial outcomes by:
- Monitoring trade performance against scope prior to invoice approval
- Investigating claims and providing clear findings to Senior/Project Managers
- Supporting procurement and subcontract administration
- Maintaining financial and contractual documentation with precision
This is a role for someone who understands that strong project delivery is underpinned by strong commercial control.
Who is the right fit?
Someone who can demonstrate experience in contracts administration within a construction environment and understand how projects are delivered commercially.
We are talking:
- Sound knowledge of building contracts and subcontractor management
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience maintaining data within job or project management systems
- The ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and work to tight timeframes
Experience across aged care, retirement living, childcare/education, office or retail sectors will be highly regarded.
What's on offer:
- A permanent role within a stable, growing organisation delivering meaningful projects nationally.
- Monday to Friday culture.
- Collaborative team environment.
- Career progression as the business expands.
We understand flexibility looks different for everyone. Tell us what working well looks like for you and let’s explore how we can make it work.
Experience is the Difference.
If you’re ready to bring commercial discipline and clarity to projects that matter, we’d love to hear from you.
