Employment Term: Permanent Part Time Opportunity (0.5 FTE)

Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD

Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61 phr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

Skills

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver education across our Emergency and Critical Care Service teams. As an enthusiastic and experienced nurse, your passion for these areas is evident in your desire to impart knowledge and skills to your peers. The role will see you make a significant contribution to the clinical education of staff and you will be responsible and accountable for with your clinical nurse manager / education manager:

  • Planning, facilitating and evaluating the progressive learning and development of clinical educational requirements; and
  • Application and implementation of evidence-based nursing best practice within the workplace. With a genuine interest in safety, you will provide ongoing training to staff on safe clinical and work practices within our hospital.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 3 years recent clinical experience including critical care and / or emergency
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrate a passion for clinical teaching and education
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of individuals
  • Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
  • Have completed or willingness to undertake:
    • Preceptor program;
    • Certificate IV (Workplace training and assessment); and
    • Post graduate clinical or education qualification.
