Protech is currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Civil Excavator Operators and Moxy Operators to join our team on a 7/7 roster at a mine site near Coppabella.

Responsibilities or duties

Moxy Operators

• Operating Articulated Haul Trucks 745
• Move bulk earthworks
• Loaded by excavator
• Mining experience (Desirable)
• Minimum 12 months’ experience
• RII in Articulated Haul Truck – Mandatory

Excavator Operators

• Operating Excavators up to 74t
• Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements
• Perform final trim to precise specifications for mine site road and drainage
• Building and maintaining levies and bunding across site
• Batter work, Road Building and Road Maintenance across site.
• Excavators – Bulk Earthworks
• Adhere to all mine site safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Candidate to have GPS Trimble Experience deseriable. Be able to use GPS Coordinates
• Minimum 2 year’s experience

Qualifications or requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating excavators and Moxy’s in a civil or mining environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Previous Civil experience and Civil Road background
• RII Excavator or RII Articulated Haul Truck or signed training transcript within 5 years.
• Ability to work a 7/7 day only roster
• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 SOA
• Current driver’s license and rightsto work in Australia

Experience needed

Minimum 12 months’ experience (Moxy Operators)

Minimum 2 year’s experience (Excavator Operators)
