At Star Aviation, we’re big enough to manage, but small enough to care. With us, you’ll experience the scale of working with Australia’s leading airlines, while still being part of a business that treats you like an individual. Every shift is about keeping the skies safe, keeping Australia’s airports moving and making travel journeys memorable for passengers.

Our values are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to welcome people who share them. When we work with those who live our values every day, we strengthen and protect the great culture that defines Star Aviation, ensuring it continues to deliver exceptional results for our people, our partners, and our passengers.

How we support you

We’ll support your growth with ongoing career training and development through our in-house programs, and you’ll also enjoy access to discounts and benefits across travel, retail, lifestyle and more - from partners like SpecSavers, Contiki Holidays, Hello Fresh, Koala Furniture and many others. Employees also have the ability to join Fitness Passport when you are a Star Aviation employee.

About the Role

As a Cabin Cleaning Officer, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping aircraft safe, clean, and ready for the next journey.

This is a highly physical job where you’ll spend most of your shift on your feet, moving through tight spaces between aircraft seats, and carrying out tasks to strict timelines.

Your work will include:

  • Cleaning aircraft interiors – seats, sidewalls, carpets, galleys, and lavatories
  • Waste removal and aircraft linen changes
  • Working safely with cleaning equipment and reporting any faults
  • Meeting airline standards for safety, compliance, and on-time performance

You will be required to be trained to drive airside from time to time. To be able to do this, you will be required to hold a valid drivers licence (Australian or overseas). If you have an overseas licence, you will be required to provide a copy of your submitted application to convert your overseas licence to an Australian licence.

We’re looking for someone who is physically fit, comfortable with bending and lifting frequently as part of their role cleaning within the aircraft, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

To succeed, you’ll need to be reliable, adaptable, and committed to safety while keeping a positive and proactive attitude.
