Business Solutions Analyst – Client Systems Management
Full-time, permanent role | North Parramatta (onsite parking available)

About the role
Reporting to the Client Systems Management Lead, the Business Solutions Analyst is an integral member of the Care and Clinical Systems and Reporting team in the Customer, Risk and Governance Directorate. You'll be working in a small, collaborative, and supportive team, as a key facilitator/translator between service and technical staff, assessing business processes, practices and reporting requirements, identifying appropriate information collection, systems configuration, and reporting needs.
Key responsibilities
- Understand, translate and apply priorities and plans to the service, ensuring consistency through adherence to system processes
- Work with key stakeholders, including facilitation of workshops, to identify and document business processes for new and existing programs
- Develop and maintain user documentation of system processes and reports, including user guides and tip sheets
- Participate in Agile project methodologies, such as sprint planning (including task effort estimation), working in sprints, raising issues or delays as soon as possible, and supporting management of the Agile methodology within the team
- Contribute to the delivery of projects within the Operational Plans and other tasks as required
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required
Qualifications and Experience
You’ll bring proven experience in your field of expertise and can demonstrate success, building and maintaining relationships with large groups of users at all levels of a complex organisation and have:
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification with a major in Information technology, project management or related field
- Natural curiosity and initiative to analyse current systems and processes to identify gaps, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Proven expertise in developing and delivering high-quality technical and business specifications and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to actively engage with stakeholders
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills, setting achievable timeframes, and the ability to work to timeframes to complete projects, tasks, and duties
