We have an opportunity for an experienced Branch / Service Manager to join and lead our service and parts teams in our Hobart branch. This unique leadership position will have you 'hands-on' in the Service department managing the day-to-day operations, whilst overseeing the operations of the Parts, Warehouse and Admin team ensuring the delivery of agreed goals and business profitability.
A day on the job will see you:
- Lead and mentor the Service department to achieve productivity and service
- Oversee daily field and internal service operational processes and aim to improve efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Act as the key liaison for customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
- Build strong and meaningful working relationships with suppliers, customers and work colleagues
- Lead, coach, monitor and mentor staff to allow them to deliver the best outcomes for them and CJD
- Deliver accurate and timely reports to the General Manager - Tasmania
- Drive and determination to expand our client base and identify new markets for CJD Equipment and their expanding product offering
What you need to get the job done:
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to engage teams
- Proven experience managing service teams (Mechanics/technicians)
- Ability to work with your team to prioritise workloads, and adapt to changing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and capability to build strong customer relationships
- Strong technical / service ops background (previous mechanic or equivalent )
- A high level of computer literacy
