Are you an experienced Blast Crew Labourer looking for your next opportunity?
Big Yellow Mining is looking for skilled and versatile Blast Crew to contribute to both existing and new projects kicking off in April across WA.
These are not entry level positions - we require previous experience in a similar role.
If you are looking to continue to progress your blasting career, then we would be keen to discuss opportunities across our business.
We have a strong track record of internal growth within our blasting teams
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience in open pit mining, ideally gold
Experience marking up, assisting with load/tie/fire processes and QA
Assist in accurate record keeping of stock
A high degree of physical fitness
Essential Criteria:
12 months Previous Blasting experience
Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
Dangerous Goods Security Card
Able to pass Pre Employment Medical & Drug Testing
Current WA Drivers License
Police Clearance for gold site access
Available to commence in April
Full time employment is offered working a 2&1 FIFO roster, with a starting rate of $48.00 Per Hour plus superannuation on all hours.
Ensuited camp facilities on offer, with Telstra coverage and wifi provided.
