About the Role

Looking for experienced Bar Attendant/Bar Supervisor staff. Full-time positionavailable. The role at Sebel Yarrawonga is for a true hands-on leader willing to inspire and drive a diverse workforce to produce a high quality restaurant service. You will be passionate about maintaining clear processes among our staff and proactively provide coaching and support. You will be willing to assist with any role—whether seating guests, delivering dishes, or managing a guest concern to ensure smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with guests to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and provide information on promotions and events.
• Build relationships with local and return guests to personalise their experience by sharing preferences with staff.
• Lead by example, working alongside staff during peak times to uphold high service standards.
• Coach and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Lead staff performance and training and ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory levels, including restocking supplies and checking deliveries.
• Support in managing inventory and supplier relationships efficiently.
• Adapt swiftly to guest volume changes without compromising service quality.
• Support team with any tasks needed, maintaining a calm presence under pressure.
• Contribute ideas for improving the dining experience based on guest feedback and industry insights.

About You

• Experience in a dining environment, with previous bar experience and/or supervisory roles..
• Strong ability to engage with guests, resolve issues on the spot, and create memorable dining experiences.
• Experience leading and coaching teams, with a hands-on approach to motivate and foster a positive work environment.
• Keen eye for presentation, cleanliness, and service flow, ensuring all aspects meet 5-star standards.
• Ability to remain composed and supportive, even during peak service times or challenging situations.
• Clear, confident communicator who can convey expectations and provide in-the-moment updates to staff.
• Flexibility to handle last-minute guest requests or changes in volume while maintaining service quality.
• Strong understanding of compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
