Are you the go-to person your friends call when they need help buying a car? Maybe you’re the type who spends weekends tinkering under the hood, rebuilding your pride and joy just for fun. Inspectors at Carma are the experts on the ground, meticulously assessing vehicles and their condition, noting findings, negotiating pre-qualified deals, and ensuring Carma buys the very best cars! We’re now looking for our newest Inspector to join the team, helping us buy the best cars in Caringbah area and it could be you!

What you’ll be doing:

• Hitting the road to inspector customer cars, giving each car a thorough once-over from bumper to bonnet.
• Keeping sellers in the loop with updates on your arrival, making the process smooth and stress-free.
• Following the step-by-step inspection process, matching what you see in person with what’s been reported, ensuring every detail aligns perfectly.
• Using your negotiation skills to agree on prices that work for both. Carma and the seller—and sealing the deal on the spot!
• Capturing every detail on our system (you'll have an iPad to use), from inspection results to compliance docs and photos, so nothing gets missed.

• You have an interest or love of all things automotive—you’re the go-to car expert among your friends.
• You have sharp attention to detail, ensuring no scratch or sound goes unnoticed.
• You're experienced adapting to different customers—whether they’re car buffs or just parting ways with an old ride, you’ll always be able to read the room and adapt.
• You have a knack for negotiating deals that make everyone happy.
• You're motivated to work independently and take ownership of your results, as you’ll often be on the road working solo.
• You enjoy following a process and suggesting improvements as you go.
• A valid NSW driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including every second Saturday.
