CJD Equipment is on the lookout for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our fast‑paced Guildford workshop. If you love problem‑solving, enjoy working with world-class Volvo CE machinery, and thrive in a supportive team environment—this one’s for you.
Responsibilities or duties
Main Duties -
- Building and modifying wiring harnesses for new machine upgrades
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, sensors, circuits, and hydraulic control components on heavy equipment
- Performing workshop repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Pitching in with general workshop duties, including servicing, when needed
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Qualifications, Qualities and Experience -
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Confident communicator with solid computer skills
- Professional, friendly, and safety‑focused
- Able to work independently and keep cool under pressure
- Air conditioning licence (desirable, not essential)
- Current driver’s licence (HR desirable, not essential)
