? About the Role
As Assistant Parts Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Parts Department. You’ll be empowered to take initiative, build strong relationships, and contribute directly to the success of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional service by handling customer enquiries, sales, and quotations
- Building lasting relationships with customers while identifying new business opportunities
- Ensuring timely and accurate ordering of parts and accessories
- Overseeing freight logistics, both inbound and outbound
- Managing and reconciling daily cash sales
- Supporting inventory control and minimising risk through accurate reporting
- Monitoring sales performance, margins, and expenses—taking proactive action when needed
- Collaborating with the key leaders on reporting and forecasting
- Stepping confidently into the Parts Manager role when required
? About You
You’re more than experienced—you’re motivated, reliable, and ready to lead by example.
You will bring:
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge within the automotive industry
- Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter (essential)
- Outstanding communication skills and a professional phone manner
- Exceptional organisation and time management abilities
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive, “can-do” mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- A team-first attitude with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment
- High levels of integrity, resilience, and professionalism
