About the Role

As an Assistant Trade Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operational activities of the Bundaberg Fulfilment Centre. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that operational targets are consistently achieved. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence

Some tasks as part of this role include:

  • Supporting the training and development of new team members to ensure they understand and deliver our high standards of customer service
  • Accountable for a continuous improvement at the site
  • Assist in analysing KPI and stock-keeping data, identifying issues, and preparing reports for resolution and action
  • Assisting to create a positive and motivating culture within the team that inspires great performance and supporting all levels of team member performance
  • Builds and sustains positive relationships within the team
  • Ensure that Knauf Gypsum values are part of the operational culture
  • Foster a culture of change readiness to optimise labour usage and streamline processes
  • Occupational Health & Safety and preventative maintenance
  • Building and maintaining client relationship

About You

  • Located in or near Bundaberg.
  • Prior experience in building services within the retail or commercial space
  • Experience in the use of SAP would be an advantage
  • Experience leading a team
  • Previous trade experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work from the Bundaberg site full time (Mon-Fri – 6am - 3pm)

  • Forklift License is required
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to undertake daily manual handling
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical
