Role Overview

Provide administrative and clerical support to specialist aged care services within Westmead Integrated Seniors Healthcare (WISH). This role ensures smooth clinic operations and delivers high‑quality customer service to patients, carers, clinicians, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage telephone enquiries, appointment bookings, and patient communications.
  • Coordinate clinic administration including scheduling, interpreter bookings, reminders, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and manage data entry using healthcare systems.
  • Support clinical teams with correspondence, reporting, billing, and follow‑up coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Selection Criteria

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service focus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in clerical and data entry tasks, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a health setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
