About the position:
We are seeking a service‑focused and analytically minded Accounts Payable professional to join our close‑knit team of three, based in Mooloolaba. In this role, you will manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable function across multiple entities.
This is a varied position that will suit someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, can adapt their approach to the differing needs of each entity, and consistently delivers accurate, compliant outcomes in line with company policies and processes. Your confidence working across multiple systems, along with intermediate Excel skills, will enable you to quickly adapt and add value to the team.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the full accounts payable process across multiple entities
- Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with Australian taxation and internal control requirements
- Maintaining supplier relationships and responding to enquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Supporting month‑end processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will bring the following:
- 3+ years’ experience in an accounts payable role within a high‑volume environment
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (highly desirable)
- Sound working knowledge of Australian taxation requirements relevant to accounts payable
- Experience using an expense management system (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
