Bayside European Motor Group is a family owned business that has business's and dealerships in Mornington, Cheltenham, Elsternwick and Glenhuntly. Consisting of Volkswagen, GAC, Geely, Peugeot, Cupra & Mornington 4X4 Ironman.

We are looking for a full-time hands-on Account's superstar to join our team based at our Frankston office.

Responsibilities or duties

The successful applicant will provide support to the Financial Controller and the to the dealership's admin team.

This will involve:

  • Daily bank statement processing
  • Daily cashflow management and forecasting
  • Assist with month end closing and financial reporting
  • Support for EOFY reporting and submissions
  • Back up for Vic Roads tasks / compliance
  • Weekly payroll processing back-up
  • GL Reconciliations & associated journals
  • Financier payouts
  • Accounts receivable & payable support
  • Back fill for various administration roles

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

To be considered it is essential that you have proven accounts experience in a dealership environment and will be competent with Pentana / ERA.

Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

  • Flexibility with a can-do attitude
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadline requirements
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience needed

Proven accounts experience in a dealership environment.
