Our Rental Solutions business provides a full service offering with technical support to find the optimal power, air, or temperature control solutions to drive our clients' business.

Our Townsville, Qld location has a strong, safety-focussed team specialising in diesel and gas power generation and temperature control, including servicing, fault finding, repairs and remote support as required.

Looking to develop your mechanical aptitude and/or skills and knowledge?

Do you enjoy working in a busy yard with a strong focus on safety, and working with our technicians to organise and support fleet readiness and dispatch?

Do you have mechanical aptitude and/or are you interested in learning more about mechanical servicing and power generation? We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our Townsville branch on a 6-month maximum term contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities or duties

You will be trained in undertaking general yard duties and simple mechanical tasks. You may be required to undertake some travel within the Townsville region to assist our field service technicians.

Qualifications or requirements

• Mechanical aptitude / interest.
• Current drivers' license.
• Forklift license (preferred).
• Proven computer literacy skills.
• High-level organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong listening, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, driven and a self-starter.
