Derived from humble beginnings, Homewell is a boutique in-home care provider servicing NDIS and ageing clients in Melbourne's North & West. We are a dedicated team of passionate professionals, all committed to our mission - including a responsive and caring rostering team. We offer a supportive and flexible work environment where we encourage ongoing development and learning without losing the essence of a person-centred approach. Join us and you will have an opportunity to create positive impact within your local community.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

A supportive and flexible rostering team who has your back

Opportunity to step up with higher responsibilities and grow your skills

Work that makes a real difference in your community

Be part of a team that lives our values: Kindness, Courage, and Excellence

About the Role

As a Full-Time Support Worker/Flexi Carer, you’ll provide responsive, high-quality support to clients across our community. You’ll help maintain continuity of care during staff absences or peak periods, while also supporting the team operationally - assisting with rostering, mentoring new staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of direct client support and leadership exposure.

This is a full time position Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend, public holiday and overtime hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver person-centred care in line with individual support plans
  • Step in for unplanned shifts and ensure consistent, quality care
  • Support clients to achieve their goals and maintain independence
  • Work closely with our rostering and care teams to coordinate shifts
  • Provide guidance and informal leadership to fellow support workers

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or higher)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Current Driver’s Licence, reliable insured vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
  • A caring, adaptable professional who’s confident stepping into new situations

Experience in aged care is essential - and if you love solving problems, connecting with people, and bringing calm to the chaos, you’ll thrive here.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your care career - with the flexibility, trust, and recognition you deserve - we’d love to hear from you.
