In the role of Senior Consultant, Strategic Sourcing you will join the Personal Bank Sourcing team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Responsibilities or duties

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Develop and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives that drive cost optimisation, value creation and operational efficiency across the business
  • Lead supplier selection, onboarding and contract negotiations, securing strong commercial outcomes and service performance
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to align sourcing with business priorities
  • Analyse market trends, supplier performance and cost drivers to inform data-led sourcing decisions and continuous improvement
  • Identify and manage supply chain risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability
  • Ensure all sourcing activities meet governance, regulatory and compliance standards while driving best practice procurement outcomes
  • Establish and track supplier performance metrics (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to optimise outcomes
  • Champion sustainable sourcing practices that support corporate responsibility goals and long-term business value

Qualifications or requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in negotiating complex contracts and delivering value-for-money outcomes
  • Advanced analytical skills to assess supplier performance, market dynamics and cost drivers to inform decision-making
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ability to identify, assess and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity and resilience
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements within procurement environments
  • Experience managing multiple sourcing initiatives and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and a commitment to driving responsible procurement outcomes
