Deliver case work and case management services, including complex cases.

Provide statutory welfare services under the Care and Protection of Children Act.

Support, train, and educate staff on program and practice issues.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of client information.

Participate in after‑hours service and emergency responses.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or equivalent.

Extensive experience in child protection and welfare services.

Ability to interpret and apply legislation.

Strong communication and training skills.

Ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures, including Aboriginal communities.

NT driver’s licence (or ability to obtain); willingness to travel via 4WD/light aircraft.

Experience needed

Desirable: Five years’ relevant experience including child protection and care work.
