About the role

Join a dynamic podiatry team delivering high-quality care across acute, subacute and community programs. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across multiple Western Health sites, including Footscray, Sunshine, Williamstown Hospitals as well as the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, and to practise in a modern, state-of-the-art clinical environment at the new Footscray Hospital.

You'll support patients to achieve better health outcomes while contributing to services spanning inpatient, outpatient and community-based care.

Not sure about the change to acute care? A dedicated clinical educator is available to support podiatrists transitioning from community health or private practice into the setting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based podiatry services to inpatients, outpatients and community clients
  • Apply sound clinical reasoning to assess, plan and review outcomes
  • Contribute to service planning, evaluation and quality improvement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and service meetings
  • Provide supervision to junior staff and students where required

About you:

  • Degree in Podiatry and AHPRA registration
  • Experience in acute or subacute services, or readiness to transition with educator support
  • Strong assessment, treatment and case-management skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time-management
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current Victorian driver licence and Working with Children Check
