Who are we?
Howdy, we're PlanCare. A young, exciting and innovative NDIS registered Plan Management provider that has its sights set on revolutionising the NDIS market through innovative use of technology.
You see...we like to think of ourselves as slightly different from the rest of the crowd! We're building a fun and inclusive brand, and we want you to be part of it. A business that will help Aussies with an NDIS plan to take control of their funding, and help them to reach their goals.
If you want to be part of a great team, and be involved in growing our brand and business, then apply below.
This role is full time, based in our office in the Perth CBD.
About The Role
The NDIS Plan Manager role is an operational position that will support PlanCare to grow the business and become a leader in the sector. Plan Managers claim participant funds from the NDIS and pay providers on the behalf of participants. They also provide advice and budget monitoring to participants.
This role is a very hands-on role, where flexibility is key. Whilst a large part of this role is about working directly with clients and administering the invoices and budgets of their care plan, you will also have a strong focus on helping shape the direction of the company.
You are someone that has great administration skills, ideally a background in accounts payable, troubleshooting and a knowledge of how the NDIS works especially the NDIS MyPlace system and plan management.
The role will look a bit like this…
Reporting to the NDIS Team Leader, you'll be:
- Working in an agile team to administer the day-to-day payment of client invoices and administering their funding.
- Administering the day to day running of clients invoicing and accounts payable needs.
- Ensuring NDIS clients and their families understand the NDIS plan, and provide advice around what supports can be purchased with their funding
- Building rapport with NDIS clients to build long lasting relationships.
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of NDIS information, requirements, policies and changes, and communicating this with the rest of the team.
- Providing feedback to and preparing material to support PlanCare clients.
You'll definitely need to:
- Continuously strive to achieve industry compliance and best practice
- Have at least some current knowledge of NDIS and proactively drive your personal learning and growth
- Have great written and verbal communication skills
- Be good with numbers and attention to detail
- Positively contribute to the achievement of the business objectives whilst maintaining a focus on the business values
- Have good knowledge of Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Have an approved NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Have the right to live and work in Australia
It would be especially great if you had:
- Experience with PRODA
- Experience working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme and have experience in working with NDIS systems (MyPlace)
- Proven experience in administering NDIS plans including paying invoices, working with providers and triaging issues.
But we'll still consider you if you don't.
Don't think you can meet all this criteria? Apply anyway - it's all about the right fit, not the right resume, for us.
PlanCare is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage individuals of diverse backgrounds (including, but not limited to, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds, people in the LGBTQI+ community, and people with a disability) to apply.
