We are proud to have recently joined Harmony Australasia. Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is currently preparing to progress the Execution Phase of the Eva Copper Mine Project in QLD. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia’s highest-grade copper mine.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Mine Surveyor you will provide accurate and timely surveying services to support underground mining activities. You will play a key role in ensuring that operations run efficiently and safely including:

ABOUT YOU

Degree or diploma in surveying or a related field. BOSSI recognised degree and qualified in Mine Surveying or Spatial Sciences will be highly regarded

Previous experience in underground mine surveying preferably in Hard Rock Mining

Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, and mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Surpac, or AutoCAD).

Current driver’s license and relevant Australian working rights

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
