DXC providing claims management services. We’re seeking an experienced and confident Medical Management Specialist to join our Medical Management team. In this pivotal role, you will utilise your personal injury expertise to oversee medical & like services and surgical processes, while providing guidance and support to both new and existing Claims Officers. As a key subject-matter expert, you will review complex medical requests arising from Workers’ Compensation claims, ensuring decisions are sound, compliant, and aligned with WorkSafe and industry guidelines.

  • Manage and oversee medical & like services and surgery approval processes
  • Review and assess complex medical requests across a variety of injury types
  • Provide support, coaching, and technical guidance to Claims Officers
  • Liaise with Medical Advisors and Treating Health Practitioners to ensure appropriate treatment pathways
  • Ensure all decisions adhere to WorkSafe requirements and best-practice industry standards
  • Strong understanding of personal injury, return-to-work, or workers’ compensation environments
  • Confident in interpreting medical information and applying legislation/guidelines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Allied health qualification is advantageous but not essential
