Background

This role is within the NSW Health system, specifically the Sydney Local Health District. The position is designated as Health Manager Level 3.

Responsibilities / Roles

Lead the IT Service Management (ITSM) function across the district.

Oversee systems administration and ensure service delivery meets organisational needs.

Manage ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and service request management.

Provide strategic advice on IT service improvements and governance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IT services align with clinical and corporate requirements.

Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements / Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, systems administration, or related field.

Demonstrated experience managing ITSM frameworks and processes.

Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent service management methodologies.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex healthcare environment.
