Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as technical authority for all electronics and firmware systems
- Leading end‑to‑end development of medical device electronics, from concept to manufacturing
- Designing analog, digital, RF and low‑power circuits for biosignal acquisition and BLE/RF connectivity
- Overseeing embedded firmware development (RTOS and bare-metal in C/C++)
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601, IEC 62366 and IEC 62304
- Managing and mentoring internal engineers and external development partners

- Supporting supplier engagement, audits and scalable manufacturing readiness
Your Background
- 5–10+ years’ experience in high‑reliability electronic system development
- Strong experience with Class II/III medical devices (highly desirable)
- Expertise in analog, digital, RF and low‑power/battery‑powered designs
- Proven experience with Altium Designer / Altium‑365 and custom libraries
- Embedded firmware experience (RTOS, bare‑metal; C/C++)
- Strong knowledge of biosignal acquisition, signal processing and validation
- Hands‑on experience with Nordic, STM32, Analog Devices or comparable MCUs
- Deep understanding of medical device development lifecycle and QMS environments
- Confident leadership, mentoring and cross‑functional communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Australian working rights (Engineers Australia membership advantageous)
Why Join?
- Be part of a fast‑growing MedTech company delivering life‑changing technology
- Take ownership of critical safety‑focused electronics systems
- Influence product direction at senior technical level
- Work with a talented, multidisciplinary team in a collaborative culture
- Flexible working arrangements with long‑term career growth potential
