Are you a numbers whiz who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? My client is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Financial Control & Consolidation team. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines; you’ll be in the thick of it, managing large-scale transaction volumes and ensuring our consolidated reporting is airtight.
Responsibilities or duties
- Month-End Execution: Own the month-end process for your remit, including high-volume accruals, prepayments, and detailed variance analysis.
- Capex Oversight: Apply sound knowledge of Capital Expenditure reporting to track investments, manage asset lifecycles, and ensure compliance with group policies.
- Consolidation Support: Work within the Financial Control team to ensure data integrity across multiple entities and business units.
- Data Wrangling: Manage and reconcile large volumes of transactions with speed and precision.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidently communicate financial outcomes and "the story behind the numbers" to the wider team.
Qualifications or requirements
- 3-5 years of core accounting experience
- Sound knowledge of Capital Expenditure reporting
- Ability to perform month end tasks (accruals/ variance analysis)
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working toward it) is highly preferred.
- Advance Excel skills
- Ability work independently
- Experience with large volume of transactions
