About the role 

We’re seeking a Finance Partner to partner with the Customer and Technology business and drive strategic financial decision-making across a dynamic and evolving business.

You’ll join an innovative team, who work collaboratively across functions to solve problems, challenge thinking and continuously improve how the business delivers value.

As our Finance Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping commercial outcomes by providing strategic financial insight, influencing investment decisions, and ensuring robust financial planning supports business operations, major projects and strategic initiatives .

This is a 12-month Secondment/Fixed Term opportunity

Day-to-day, you will: 

  • Partner with senior leaders within the Customer and Technology teams to deliver strategic finance support and guidance.
  • Manage and lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle for the function, while reviewing and challenging key assumptions and addressing adverse cost positions.
  • Identify cost optimisation opportunities and proactively manage financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve performance.
  • Influence and advise stakeholders by translating financial data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases to support business and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and analyse expenditure (Opex and Capex) and monitor benefit realisation, partnering with project managers and business owners to support delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Reporting, Forecasting, and Analytics team to deliver ad hoc financial reporting and insights that support tactical business decisions.

  • Proven experience in commercial finance or business partnering roles
