What you'll do
We are seeking an ambitious professional who is eager to elevate and progress their career in Employee Relations! As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will be a trusted advisor to the business and you will provide high-quality ER guidance, navigate complex people matters, and contribute to a culture that values excellence, collaboration and integrity.
We are enabled by effective and efficient people processes and technology to support the management of our ER matters.
- Deliver day to day advice and coaching to line managers on employee relations matters such as grievances, performance management, misconduct, policy breaches and health matters
- Stay abreast of internal policy and external legislation to ensure the highest quality advice is given
- Influence, coach and develop line managers to model the desired interpersonal and leadership skills to create a positive working environment in line with our values and employee relations framework
- Manage individual caseloads to support and foster both leaders and team business-wide.
What you'll bring
- Experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or HR, through previous roles and/or tertiary education (human resources or law).
- Ability and passion for coaching and supporting employees.
- Experience interpreting and advising on the Fair Work Act and Enterprise Agreements is ideal but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills are important as is a commercial orientation.
- Effective time management and the ability to manage a number of competing priorities and time sensitive cases.
