ESS Defence - Cleaners Gallipoli / RAAF Amberley / Kokoda
ESS delivers the best hospitality and support services to remote and Defence sites across Australia. From mess halls to accommodation and recreation facilities, our teams keep Defence communities running smoothly every day.
We’re seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for Defence personnel living and working on base.
Role Locations:
- Gallipoli Barracks
- RAAF Amberley
- Kokoda Barracks
Your responsibilities will include:
- General cleaning duties across accommodation, offices, and common areas
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Following safety and hygiene standards and site-specific procedures
- Providing exceptional service with attention to detail
- Working effectively within a team to meet daily cleaning schedules
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience
- A strong focus on safety and teamwork
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends if required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position
