About Us:

Anglicare's Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.

About the Role:

We currently have 3 Part-time Domestic Support Worker positions available to service clients across the Eight Mile Plains region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes. This support includes; vacuuming, laundry, sweeping, dusting, mopping etc.

Shift timings will be between Mon-Fri 7/8am - 3/4pm. No weekends. Minimum 3 days availability is needed.

Service Areas Include: Burranda, Camp Hill, Coorparoo, East Brisbane, Greenslopes, Kangaroo Point, Stones Corner, Woolloongabba, Balmoral, Bulimba, Hawthorne, Morningside, Norman Park, Seven Hills, Dutton park, Fairfield, Fairfield Gardens, Highgate Hill, South Brisbane, West End, Yeerongpilly and Yeronga

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
