Background

This role is within the Department of Corrections at the Holtze Youth Detention Centre.

Responsibilities/Roles:

• Support Superintendent and managers in workforce planning and HRM.
• Provide advice on employee relations, industrial issues, and disputes.
• Oversee workforce development and capability building.
• Manage WHS practices and promote wellbeing/diversity.
• Deliver HR programs in privacy, complaints, policy, and employee lifecycle.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in workforce/employee relations and HRM functions.
• Knowledge of HR management and organisational effectiveness.
• Ability to build networks and workforce capability.
• Experience in WHS and injury case management.
• Skills in HR analytics and statistical analysis.
• Desirable: Qualifications in HRM/Employee Relations or related field.
