JOB DETAILS:

Position: Cook

Status: Casual

Salary range: $32.90 per hour (inclusive of all allowances/loadings and Worker Retention Payment), plus 25% casual loading and super

Location: Roebourne, Western Australia 6718

• 1 cup of healthy fun menus for children
• 1 cup of cooking smells wafting through the centre
• 1 tablespoon of the freshest produce
• 1 tablespoon of thrift to get the best food at the best prices
• 2 cups of preparing food in accordance with food safety standards

This position and you

You will be the heart of the center, where good food prepared by someone who truly cares makes all the difference. In this role, you will

• Create menus based on the 'Staying Healthy' guidelines, provide adequate and nutritious meals for children, and ensure that everything is done within budget
• Working with a range of different cultures and dietary needs is essential, making this position vital to the service as it ensures essential nutrition for the children
• The successful candidate will also be required to act as Workplace Health & Safety Officer.

Requirements

• Be eligible to work in Australia and live in Roebourne
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Satisfactory National Police Clearance
• I’M ALERT Food Safety Certificate
