Join our Airworthiness team in a role that sits at the heart of safe and compliant aircraft operations. As a Component & Configuration Controller, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and planning teams to ensure aircraft data is accurate, aligned, and meets all regulatory requirements.
This role is suited to someone with experience working in a technical or regulated environment who enjoys working with data, systems, and structured processes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team and gain exposure across engineering, maintenance, and compliance functions.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing aircraft configuration and component data for the QantasLink Dash-8 and B717 fleet. Working within the TRAX Maintenance Information System, you’ll ensure data accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience working in a technical, engineering, or regulated environment (e.g. aviation, defence, rail, heavy industry or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, with experience maintaining accurate data within systems or compliance-driven processes
- Experience working with technical documentation or maintenance data (e.g. IPC, AMP, CMM, asset records, or similar structured documentation)
- Exposure to or experience using maintenance or asset management systems such as TRAX, AMOS, SAP, or comparable platforms
- A process-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to follow structured procedures and identify discrepancies or gaps
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, planning, and operational stakeholders
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage, review, and interpret data
- Maintain accurate aircraft configuration and component records within TRAX
- Update system data to reflect new components, changes, and modifications
- Monitor major component assemblies to ensure correct modification status for fitment
- Work closely with Technical Services Engineers, Maintenance Planning, and Receipt Compliance teams
- Support data integrity and consistency across engineering and maintenance functions
- Contribute to the broader Airworthiness team as required
