BlueCare is embarking on an exciting transformation to strengthen the provision of quality nursing care in the community setting. Being part of our clinical nursing team within our neighbourhood structure, you will have a dedicated focus on providing nursing care and leadership, support and guidance to other care staff in the provision of quality care that promotes quality of life and enhances the ability of individuals to maintain their independence and remain within their home in the community.
Your Part In Our Clinical Team
As our Clinical Nurse, you will be allocated a client portfolio and have the opportunity to lead and inspire the frontline clinical team through the provision of guidance and mentorship. The role will hone into your effective decision making and clinical experience where you will provide exceptional care whilst responding to clinical nursing issues and concerns.
With Our Clients’ Wellbeing Always In Mind, You’ll Review Client Care And Care Plans Promoting Independence & Quality Of Life, Making a Real Difference To The Quality Of Care We Deliver. This Includes
- Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
- Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
- Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards
What Makes a Difference For Us
You will be an experienced clinician, with considerable experience within an acute or aged care environment. You’ll be an advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service. You’ll present with:
- Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
- Ability to liaise with the care team and to provide co-ordinated care
- Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
- Previous community nursing experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
