About the Role
Trippas White Group is a leading hospitality company operating across iconic venues including the Sydney Opera House, Centennial Parklands, Sydney Tower, Royal Botanic Gardens, and more. We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Chef to join our kitchen team at a prestigious private college within the University of Sydney. This is a fixed full-time role based at St Paul’s College, Camperdown, paid in line with the Level 5 Hospitality Award (hourly rate).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
- Deliver quality, timely food service across student dining and external events
- Work collaboratively within a team of up to 10 kitchen staff
- Manage stock rotation and maintain kitchen organisation
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience delivering quality food in a similar environment (education, events, or high-volume catering)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- A proactive attitude with strong initiative and creativity
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and dietary requirements
- A valid Working With Children Check
Working Conditions
Flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays as required. Typical shifts:
- 12:00pm – 8:00pm
- 9:00pm – 5:00am
