About the role

If you enjoy being the organiser that keeps momentum high and details on track, this is your chance to make a real impact. As a Category Sales Specialist in Hammer Media, you’ll sit at the heart of our media sales function, supporting a fast‑moving, highly collaborative sales team to do their best work.

You’ll support by keeping our sales pipeline flowing to making sure suppliers, partners and internal teams stay connected and informed. In this role, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of our media sales operations and help create a great experience for our teams and partners.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Support Category Sales Managers with day‑to‑day coordination, administration, and sales activity, helping them stay focused on building strong commercial partnerships.
  • Keep records, schedules, and sales documentation up to date, accurate and easy to access.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications and follow‑ups with suppliers, advertisers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help manage the media sales pipeline by updating CRM systems and ensuring information is clear and current.
  • Prepare pre‑ and post‑sales reports and presentations that support decision‑making and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with the wider Hammer Media team to keep everything running smoothly and consistently.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks, asking questions when needed and finding practical ways to get things done. Most importantly, you bring a positive, can‑do mindset and enjoy supporting others to succeed, contributing to a culture that values collaboration and shared wins.

You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales support, coordination or administration role (media or advertising exposure is preferred).
  • A solid understanding of sales processes, CRM systems and general business administration.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools to produce accurate reports, documents and presentations.
  • A relevant qualification in Business, Marketing or Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience needed

Demonstrated experience in a sales support, coordination or administration role (media or advertising exposure is preferred).
