Your Opportunity
Join us as an Administration Officer and play a vital role in supporting our teams and programs that make a real difference in people’s lives. This is an on-site position based in Katherine, where you will manage a variety of administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records, assisting with reporting and compliance, and supporting projects across the office.
Your work will help ensure smooth operations, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and create well-organised, welcoming environments that enable our staff to deliver services that improve wellbeing and strengthen communities. You’ll be part of a team that values professionalism, confidentiality, and initiative, contributing to the efficient operation of administrative functions while supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries, directing participants appropriately, and supporting a welcoming, professional environment.
- Complete high-level administrative and secretarial support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing day-to-day office operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, correspondence, and documentation to support programs and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate agendas and take detailed minutes for meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on actions and decisions.
- Manage office resources, including ordering equipment, organising contractors for maintenance, and maintaining asset inventories.
- Support program and project activities, including data collection, reporting, quality assurance tasks, and document preparation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective collaboration and service delivery.
Requirements for Success
- Relevant qualifications in Administration, Business, or similar discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in office administration, diary management, record-keeping, reporting, and general secretarial duties.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a busy work environment.
- Proven ability to engage positively with diverse stakeholders and provide courteous, professional support.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial or program management systems.
- Demonstrated confidentiality, initiative, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Full driver licence with no restrictions.
- Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
