HBT Is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Coordinator, this is an opportunity to join a local organisation operating globally!

HBT GmbH, headquarters in Luenen, NRW, Germany, is a world-class machine manufacturer and fully integrated single solution provider – specializing in systems and equipment for underground coal mining. The company exports its high-performance longwall mining equipment to all major mining markets worldwide, strategically located in 15 countries including Australia.

The core HBT facilities have the capability for research, development, design, manufacture and testing of longwall mining equipment in-house. All HBT products and systems are produced to the highest standards and compliant with international regulatory requirements.

In addition to machine manufacturing, HBT also manufactures high-quality OE parts and provides world-class support services for their equipment to ensure their customers succeed.

Position – Position Purpose

This role is crucial in ensuring safety is our top priority while overseeing the receipting and transfer-to-location processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with established work instructions, training staff on SAP transactions, and driving continuous improvement within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety is the number 1 priority, with all chain of responsibility regulations met.
  • Receipting and transfer-to-location process owner.
  • Work instruction approver for end-to-end process.
  • Train staff in SAP transactions (based on work instructions).
  • Daily checks to ensure compliance to visual processes e.g. date stickers upon stock arrival.
  • Daily checks to ensure compliance to SAP transactions e.g. Warehouse Monitor.
  • Staff Management to ensure attendance records/timesheets are accurate.
  • Daily inbox management.
  • Ensure “Receipting Inbox” is actioned daily.
  • Implement warehouse receipting process improvements (Physical layout and transaction/paperwork flow).

About you:

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to create and operate a safe warehouse environment for all employees.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Any qualifications in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or a similar field are highly regarded.
  • High level SAP capability.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner
  • Forklift Licence.
