At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry! As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying (and selling!) experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride!

Now we need a WHS & Facilities superstar to keep our teams safe, our sites humming, and make sure Carma’s magic keeps rolling! As our WHS & Facilities Manager, you’ll own our Workplace Health & Safety system across all sites, coordinate contractors, oversee facilities, and make sure everything runs safely and smoothly. This is a hands-on, strategic role- you’ll be optimising systems, tracking performance, and helping Carma grow while keeping people safe.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own, run, and continuously improve Carma’s WHS system- audits, inspections, incident investigations, toolbox talks, and inductions
  • Manage incident reporting, injury management, and return-to-work processes
  • Deliver WHS training for employees and contractors, and ensure all processes are followed before work starts
  • Coordinate contractors onsite- making sure work gets done safely and efficiently
  • Oversee facilities, including preventative maintenance schedules, repairs, service contracts, and capex/vendor projects
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections- keeping all sites compliant and operational
  • Track, report, and optimise WHS metrics and dashboards
  • Jump into projects, relocations, expansions, and upgrades as required
  • Partner with team leaders to embed a proactive safety culture and identify gaps for improvement

Okay, let's talk about you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in WHS or Facilities within warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or production environments
  • Solid knowledge of Australian WHS legislation - Safe Work Australia, NSW WHS Act 2011, and compliance frameworks
  • Experienced managing contractors and external service providers
  • Strategic thinker who’s also hands-on and practical – you’re happy to roll up sleeves and get stuck in
  • Comfortable owning systems, optimising processes, and driving continuous improvement
  • Great communicator and stakeholder manager – you build relationships, influence teams, and get things done
  • Bonus if you’ve got any formal qualifications or training to support WHS
  • #LI-MG1

What's in it for you?

  • Jump into a fast growing, collaborative crew where your ideas actually make waves!
  • Our open plan office comes fuelled with fresh coffee, a snack stash for any craving, and Friday rooftop drinks to keep your energy in the fast lane!
  • Sweet perks because, well, we’re a car business so $$ off Carma cars, parts, and NRMA cover to rev up your ride!

At Carma, we’re all about fostering an amazing culture, where you can bring your best self to work! We value collaboration, innovation and having a laugh at work. Plus, we’re committed to diversity, inclusion and safe work practices, so no matter your background or experience (or car brand of choice!) we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
