Your New Role And Responsibilities
LAND 156 is a flagship Australian Defence initiative delivering a cutting-edge Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS) capability. This program will protect ADF personnel and assets from evolving drone threats through a layered system of sensors, effectors, and command-and-control technologies.
We are seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer responsible for validating integrated CUAS systems, including radar, EO/IR sensors, electronic warfare components, effectors, communications, and Command & Control (C2) systems. - Own V&V plans, procedures, and verification artefacts aligned to program requirements.
- Establish verification criteria, acceptance methods, and ensure requirements can be validated at system and subsystem level.
- Lead functional, integration, environmental, and acceptance testing across sensors, effectors, and C2 systems.
- Support and lead deployments, field testing, and trials in operational or austere environments.
- Maintain full traceability from requirements to verification evidence, analyse test results, and drive defect resolution with engineering teams.
What You’ll Bring To Make An Impact
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar discipline (or extensive experience).
- Proven experience in integration, verification, or test roles within multidisciplinary environments.
- Practical experience integrating and testing hardware systems.
