We are seeking a motivated and skilled Utility Locator to join a high-performing team working across a wide range of civil, construction, and infrastructure projects throughout Western Australia. This is a hands-on field role where you'll be responsible for the safe and accurate location of underground utilities. You’ll play a crucial role in helping protect vital infrastructure, reduce risk, and support successful project delivery for clients across the state.

Responsibilities or duties
- Ensure Conduct on-site utility locating using electromagnetic (EM) and ground-penetrating all work is performed safely and in accordance with regulatory and company standards
- Identify and mark out underground services including power, water, gas, sewer, and communications
- Interpret utility plans and site drawings to assist with accurate detection
- Communicate findings clearly with clients, site supervisors, and project teams
- Company standards
- Maintain and care for locating equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability
- Complete daily reporting and digital documentation of findings
- Participate in safety briefings and ongoing skills training
- Radar (GPR)
Qualifications or requirements
- Previous experience in utility locating or a related field (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s Licence (manual licence preferred)
- Construction White Card
- Good communication skills and attention to detail strong safety mindset and ability to work independently
- Cert III/IV in Utility Locating or DBYD Certified Locator (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience with GPR, confined space, or gas detection (a plus)
- Previous experience in utility locating or a related field (preferred)
Any other provided details
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (conditions apply)
- Brand New 2025 DMAX Company Vehicle, fully maintained
- Fuel card, servicing, insurance, and registration included
- Paid overtime at 1.5x and 2.0x rates
- Quarterly and Annual Performance Bonus Program
- Highest annualised wages in the industry + 12% superannuation
