What does the job look like?

The Transport Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of transport operations throughout our Kemps Creek BevChain site. You will be responsible for meeting our commitment to a tier one beverage customer through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency. Working in collaboration with our people, every decision you make will be driven by safety, service, and cost, partnering closely with the customer and sub-contracting companies to exceed operational and financial metrics. You will be supporting an iconic brand so that Australian’s can enjoy their favourite beverages! This is a permanent position, operating Monday – Friday | 5am – 1pm.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the transport function to ensure seamless execution.
  • Effective management and development of direct reports and driver workforce to provide efficiency.
  • Ensure the operation is providing superior service offerings to customers through a proactive approach to relationship management and commitment to achieving contracted KPI’s
  • Consistently communicate with the on-site customer and other external stakeholders to ensure their demands are satisfied.
  • Analyse equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilisation, route optimisation and subcontractor management.
  • Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality and Compliance requirements
  • Operational responsibility with a focus on driving improvement and innovation
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement.
