What You'll Do
As a Trainee Parts Advisor, you will be trained to support our customers and service team by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the right parts for their vehicles. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about cars, and ready to build a career in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers and assess their automotive parts needs. Provide recommendations and solutions based on their vehicle specifications and requirements.
- Parts Identification: Utilise parts catalogues and databases to identify and locate the correct parts and accessories.
- Order Processing: Accurately process parts orders, including special orders and backorders. Ensure timely delivery and follow-up.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing reorders, and keeping the parts area organized.
- Technical Support: Offer technical support and advice to customers and service technicians on parts and repair procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer interactions, and inventory changes.

- Interest in Automotive: A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to learn about vehicle parts and accessories. No prior experience necessary – we’re looking for someone eager to be trained and grow within the role.
- Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Comfortable using computers to look up information and enter data.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is advantageous.
