A permanent opportunity for a DA Planner to join a highly regarded national planning consultancy.
Your new company
A rare opportunity exists to join a well-established planning consultancy based in Sydney. They have a strong client base with a variety of ongoing exciting projects and exposure to various niche developments. This business is a market leader with a medium sized team of talented planners currently in place and are looking for a progressive and self-motivated Associate level Planner to join the team.
Your new role
As a DA Planner within this nationally recognised business, you will undertake a wide variety of challenging and varied projects across the Sydney area while striving to deliver superior outcomes. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Statutory advisory and approvals, feasibility assessments and property portfolio reviews
- Strategic Planning, rezonings and Preparing Statements of Environmental Effects of a significant scale
- Working closely with more senior staff on liaison with councils, developers, and state government agencies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Urban/Town Planning or related discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in a planning role, either in private sector, council or state government
- Strong exposure to development assessment and statutory planning
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn the commercial side of planning
